Kay started writing romance novels and quickly switched to travel nursing in 2003. Since 2005, she has published 10 books under the guise of “Highway Hypodermics: Travel Nursing 20XX.” 9 out of 10 have gone to number one on Amazon.

Kay – The Nurse

In 1990, Leona Kay was a CNA for 1.5 years while obtaining her Certificate of Practical Nursing. She practiced as an LPN for the next five years while obtaining her RN. She has been an RN since January 1998.

Kay – The Educator

The local college didn’t have a nursing program to attend at the time, so she used her scholarship to train as a teacher in the Sciences. She substituted for three years until she started as a CNA at the nursing home. Here she is teaching recruiters, “What Travelers Want In A Recruiter.”
